Privacy & Data Policy

Last updated: April 2026

1. Data Sources & Accuracy

NetaScore100 aggregates publicly available data from official government portals and independent research organizations. Our primary sources are:

  • MoSPI (eSakshi Portal) — MPLADS fund allocation, expenditure, and project completion data via the Ministry of Statistics & Programme Implementation.
  • PRS Legislative Research — MP attendance records, debate participation, and questions raised in the 18th Lok Sabha.
  • MyNeta.info (ADR) — Criminal case records and asset declarations from election affidavits filed with the Election Commission of India.

Accuracy Disclaimer: While we strive for precision, all data is subject to the accuracy and timeliness of upstream sources. Government portals may experience delays in publishing updated records. NetaScore100 makes no guarantee of real-time accuracy and should not be treated as an official government record.

2. Privacy, Cookies & Analytics

NetaScore100 is designed with a "Privacy First" approach. We do not require user accounts and do not collect any personally identifiable information (PII) such as names, emails, or phone numbers from our visitors.

Analytics (Umami)

We use Umami Cloud—a privacy-focused analytics tool—to understand how visitors interact with our dashboard. Umami does not collect any personal data and does not track you across other websites. All data collected is strictly in aggregate, anonymized form.

Advertising & Cookies (Google AdSense)

We use Google AdSense to serve advertisements on our platform to support our operations. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads based on your visit to this site and other sites on the Internet.

  • Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your interaction with this platform.
  • You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.

3. Scoring Methodology

Performance scores are calculated using a transparent, weighted algorithm. The full methodology, including pillar weights and minister-specific adjustments, is publicly documented on our Methodology page.

Scores are recalculated periodically as new data becomes available from upstream sources. Historical scores are not archived; the dashboard always reflects the latest available data.

4. Independent & Non-Partisan

NetaScore100 is an independent civic initiative. We are not affiliated with any political party, government body, or media organization. Our scoring algorithm applies the same weights and logic to every Member of Parliament regardless of party affiliation.
